The authentic exterior has extensive use of rich, natural materials and finishes to create an incredible beauty. No detail was too small – we even kept the Japanese maples from the past home in the exact location by the driveway. In order not to disturb the roots, we built a ‘dry-stack’ retaining wall.
Custom designed and fabricated heavy cedar timbers are on the gables. There’s an attractive zinc roof over the turret, an authentic-looking brick chimney and natural stone on both the front and back.
The interior design is very traditional on the main and upper floors. The rooms flow naturally with a large central staircase as the connector.

The stunning foyer features rich marble flooring, mouldings and brilliant chandeliers. There is extensive use of custom designed and fabricated leaded glass. The wall paneling and mouldings are amazing, with so much detail! Ceiling coves are backlit, creating visual identification of the groupings. Rich-toned wide plank engineered hardwood flows throughout the home.
The kitchen greatroom enjoys the same level of detail. Classic white cabinets reach to the tall ceiling, with a series of cornices. Between the kitchen and dining room is a unique hidden door.
